November 2009:
The new CRM (Compact Reference Monitor), the first in a series of extraordinarily flexible and compact reference-quality pieces, has now entered production. Using the revolutionary "Ti" crossover technology developed for the Maestro system, and offering mind-boggling performance-to-size and performance-to-value ratios, along with our traditional best-in-the-world craftsmanship, the CR series is destined to set a new standard in compact loudspeaker performance and installation flexibility.
October 2009:
We have completed a monumental breakthrough in crossover technology, codenamed "Ti", and resulting in a quantum leap in performance in our Maestro system. Whereas the earlier version of Maestro was merely more-than-competitive with other designs in its price range, and routinely outperformed systems costing 2-6 times as much, the new Maestro Ti has achieved a quantum leap in performance over anything in the world at any price. In head-to-head comparisons against the very best speakers in the world, the gap between the Maestro Ti and anything else is not subtle. In transparency, soundstaging, seamless top-to-bottom performance, and just plain "disappearance into nothingness", the Maestro Ti is a revelation. Even I quite literally would not have believed that this level of performance was possible. Until I heard it with my own ears, that is.
October 2009:
We have recently returned from the Tokyo International Audio Show, where the new PURE MKII made its international debut, displaying truly exceptional performance in conjunction with the extraordinarily musical Einstein electronics. Our heartfelt thanks go to Zephyrn, our exclusive importer/distributor in Japan, for a wonderful display once again. Sorry we missed RMAF this year, but we keep hoping RMAF will alter their scheduling so as not to directly conflict with the Japan show. Hopefully next year!
July 2009:
The long-awaited PURE MKII is here and in production! With improved midrange and subwoofer drivers, new SX active analog subwoofer filter based on the improvements made in Maestro, and many other small improvements, PURE MKII continues the tradition of our speakers being simply in a different league from anything else on the planet. When driven by a high-quality amplifier of only modest power, PURE MKII once again achieves a level of musical performance which is in a class all its own. Please audition at your earliest opportunity.
March 2009:
We have accomplished a subtle but significant upgrade to the Maestro crossover, achieving an even greater level of musical realism and naturalness. Once again, we have achieved a level of simplicity and performance simply not found in any other speakers in the world. All production systems are being upgraded to the new configuration at no cost, as is our custom. The finest loudspeaker in the world is now even better, and even more of a must-listen than before!
February 2009:
A rave review of the new Maestro has been published in issue 41 of Positive Feedback online. Bob Levi concludes: "The AudioMachina Maestro: if you only want to consider the best loudspeakers in the world under $100,000, here's your very first loudspeaker to audition." January 2009:
The final production version of Maestro was demonstrated to great acclaim at CES 2009, with many listeners commenting that once again the AudioMachina room offered the best sound at the show. Our heartfelt thanks go to our co-exhibitor ModWright Instruments for the extraordinarily musical (and astonishingly reasonably priced, given its level of performance!) upstream system. We've heard systems many times the price that haven't come close to the overall musicality and realism of this one. Bravo Dan!
November 2008:
We have spent much of the last year in intensive design of a new flagship reference loudspeaker. After a successful showing of the prototype MAESTRO reference loudspeaker at RMAF 2008, we have completed the design and entered serial production of this revolutionary loudspeaker. Early indications from dealers, distributors, customers, and reviewers confirm our initial impression that the new AudioMachina Maestro has established a new absolute reference in state-of-the-art loudspeaker performance. We will be demonstrating this extraordinary achievement at CES 2009 in suite 30-227 of the Venetian. Those interested in experiencing what is now possible in music reproduction are invited to attend.

Anyone interested in experiencing the PURE System's groundbreaking design, and its incomparable performance and quality, is invited to visit us at THE Show 2008, January 7-10 in Las Vegas, in room 1304 of the St. Tropez Hotel. We will be using the brand new and state-of-the-art Modwright LS36.5/PS36.5 preamplifier, along with the top-line Modwright Platinum Signature Truth Sony 9100ES SACD player, using all PURE Cabling. We may have some very interesting little amplifiers as well....

We have just heard that the AudioMachina PURE System has been awarded the coveted Stereo Sound Japan Grand Prix Award for 2008! We are deeply honored to have been selected for this prestigious award, and deeply gratified that the PURE System has shown itself to be one of the best of the best in the world.
October 2007:
We have just returned from the Tokyo International Audio Show, where our new PURE System was introduced to widespread acclaim and amazement. Our distributor Zephyrn set up an exceptional demonstration, placing the PURE System directly in front of a huge, state-of-the-art, reference-quality, omnidirectional speaker system costing nearly $100,000/pair. The audience spent the entire show standing up and walking to the front of the room, trying to figure out which speaker system was actually playing! It was astonishing how difficult it was to tell them apart. Even I (Karl Schuemann, designer of the PURE System), upon walking into the room on the second day and hearing some amazing full-range music playing, assumed that it was the huge speakers. The room was so packed I couldn't reach the front, and it was only several selections later that I finally got the courage up to ask the gentleman running the demonstration which speakers were actually playing!!! Upon his telling me that it was indeed the PURE System playing, I could only shake my head in wonder like everyone else. Our heartfelt thanks go to Zephyrn for a wonderful demonstration of our new baby.
